31/12/2008  UK Pigeon Couriers are now operational, and will be offering our delivery service throughout the mainland UK. We have vehicles based here in South Cheshire, Yorkshire, and have an alliance with a company in the south of England, to transport pigeons northwards.

We are very interested in speaking to potential self employed pigeon courier fanciers/drivers to cover selected areas in the near future. ie. south west midlands, south east midlands, scotland and the far north of england. please contact us for further details.

31/1/2009. UK Pigeon Couriers have had a very successful start to the year , and are very proud to have been couriers to the manager of the British Olympiad Pigeon Team for Dusseldorf 2009. We are now building a client list which includes the top studs around the UK,  National Winners, and the fancy in general, from racing pigeons, tipplers, tumblers, rollers, fantails, even cockerals and hens !!!, our feedback has been fantastic, within a month we have added an extra 2 vans and expect to be adding more as the breeding season comes into full flow.

Unfortunately, one of the drawbacks of a new company is pricing, and having started out at £30, we have found that if we carry on trading at this rate, then within a month we would be bankrupt, therefore our rates as from the 1st of Febuary 2009 are now starting at £35, which we believe with the service we offer, is still very reasonable.

If you need your young birds moving this season, then our advice is to make an early provisional booking, as i forsee more demand than the couriers can cope with.

We are into march already, and UK pigeon couriers are going from strength to strength. our clientele now consists of probably the best fanciers in the UK,  including the major pigeon studs, and this includes not only racing pigeons, but also show pigeons, rollers, tumblers , and all varieties of fancy pigeons,  we also move poultry for clients when requested and are being asked by members of the fur and feather to arrange collection and delivery of different species that require moving, all enquirys are welcome. as with most leading firms we may not be the cheapest, but we strive to be the best.

As you can see, I rarely get a chance to update the site, 5 days driving, 1 day sorting the runs and preparing for the following week and a day to sort my own pigeons, clean the vehicles, plus the ever increasing DIY jobs that I never catch up with. in 2009/10 we had the time between christmas and the new year off, plus, 2 weekends off all of the year. !!! One weekend was at the EUROPA CLASSIC (to promote UK PIGEON COURIERS),The week between christmas was building our trade stand for Blackpool + getting all the promotional Banners,Leaflets, Then in January The BRITISH HOMING WORLD SHOW itself was the other weekend, manning our stand.(I never got to look round the show) Our client list is growing weekly, and the feedback is really nice to receive. As you will see, slight changes have had to be made to our pricing. Although we moved over 30,000 pigeons in 2009, we operated at a loss which cannot carry on. I apologise to those who think the costs are too much. I can assure you being a fancier myself, I have not put the prices up for the sake of it. Thankyou Dave.
